STANDARDS OF SERVICE DELIVERY

1.    Service access

Each client seeking a service with Homecare Plus has access to the service on the basis of their needs and the available resources. 

Services are available to any person and Homecare Plus will liaise with agencies to ensure clients are receiving the service they need.

 

2.    Individual needs

Each client receives a service designed to meet their own needs.  Client’s needs are put first and care plans are designed to assist in maintaining their independence.

Each client using the service will be assisted by qualified, caring staff to achieve their highest potential.

3.    Decision making and choice

Each client is given the opportunity to participate fully in making decisions about their care.  This ensures everyone using the service is able to have a say about the services they want on a day to day basis.

 

4.    Privacy, Dignity and Confidentiality

Homecare Plus respects the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of each of their clients.

Everyone using our service has the right to be treated with respect, and the staff and management keep information about everyone private.

 

1.    Participation and Integration

Each client at Homecare Plus is supported and encouraged to participate in their activities of daily living.

Homecare Plus endeavours to assist the clients to maintain links with the community.

 

2.    Valued status

Each client at Homecare Plus has the opportunity to develop and maintain skills to allow them to be as independent as possible, at home and in the community.

 

3.    Complaints and Disputes

Each client at Homecare Plus is free to raise and have resolved any complaints or concerns he or she has regarding their service.

Everyone who uses the service has the right to speak out about any problems they may have with the service, and staff and management listening and sorting out their problems.

Homecare Plus has a complaints resolution mechanism which is available to clients, staff and agents.

 

4.    Service management

Homecare Plus ensures all services are planned and delivered in a professional and timely manner.

Service delivery will be in accordance with the clients needs.

The flexibility of our service allows the client to have their service at a time that best suits their needs.

Staff receives a copy of our occupational health and safety policy, which is regularly reviewed and updated.

Homecare Plus communicates with referring agencies to ensure clients receive their required care.

 

1.    Continuous quality improvement

All Homecare Plus employees are qualified and have had experience in their specialized field.

All staff provide a quality service and have a sound knowledge of agency policies and procedures.

This knowledge is applied throughout their day to day work, keeping in mind the importance of occupational health and safety issues.

Staff are committed to providing the highest level of care at all times, which is continually monitored by management.

 

2.    Customer service

Homecare Plus provides an easily accessible, planned and reliable service to clients throughout regional Victoria.

Services are delivered in a timely manner by qualified, caring staff.
